I don't care what you eat. I care that you try to get others to go along with the stupidity.



I have type two diabetes. I do not have to medicate for it, because of a healthy "balanced diet and get as much exercise as I can.

Yeah, a person can stay alive on an extreme diet, but the long term effects are not exactly a healthy goal. My doctors says everyone will have diabetes if we live long enough, and those who don't eat a balanced diet with meet the endocrinologist a lot younger that others.

The body needs a ratio of protein, carbohydrates and greens. I am not a dietitian but anyone trying to live on one food is going to pay a serious price down the road, and with potatoes, I suspect your spleen is simply going to say "**** it" and from that day on you will be ruled by having to eat every few hours AND take medication.

The diet they gave me, a small piece of protein, about 25% of a small plate, and an equal size portion of carbohydrates, [not rice] and half a plate of fiber, say steamed broccoli.

That is what humans were meant to consume...a balance of vegetables, fruit and meat

That is one way of attracting attention. I doubt if the potato guy is being monitored 24/7. I am taking his claim with a kilo of salt. On fries.

Just had a ham and cheese sandwich and I'm having full metabolic blood work up at the cardiologist in the morning. I'll let you know the results.

FYI Militant Vegan I do not have a blockage problem in my heart.

That sounds wildly unhealthy. Potatoes contain a massive number of carbohydrates, and obviously not all of the nutrients that you need except in enormous quantities.

I'm fine pointing out that eating too much meat is bad for people, but this diet is not something that should be pimped out as a good alternative. It's not, and if this person has a history of diabetes (and even possibly if he doesn't) he could very well be doing serious damage to his pancreas.
