Food/dish/drink that you know you shouldn't be eating but eat/binge on anyway due to lack of self control or just because you crave it so much:

A few of mine:

1. Garlic bread. I wouldn't suggest eating a whole loaf of garlic bread. I have done it a few times. Let's just say that is carb nightmare and will ruin your breathe for a few days.

2. Spinach dip in bread bowl - Luckily I have found a healthier alternative option in humus

3. Cheese - Some are healthier than others. My biggest weakness is mozzarella. Technically a Caprese salad is healthy, not so much when the ratio of mozzarella is much higher than basil and tomatoes.

4. I am not a big dessert person. Maybe croissants but I am not sure if that qualifies as a dessert. Cornbread with chile - maybe........

Thankfully, I'd consider myself a temperate person; so I have no problem with binge-eating in general, or overindulging on one particular guilty pleasure.

Having said that, I know I shouldn't eat instant noodles, but it remains the one junk food item I just can't completely eliminate from my diet. Back in college, I used to eat two standard packs 2-3 times a week, but have since radically reduced that to once every 10-14 days. I can't fathom how something so delicious and filling can be that cheap.

Oh yah, instant noodles. I sometimes add white rice to the broth or to get even more creative, kimchi. Of course I can't forget adding an egg and letting it cook inside the boiling the water.

1) Ramen Noodles

2) Chinese Food

i forgot: Cheez it crackers.

Those are addicting, are they not? I always pretend to make them healthy by adding some veggies to the mix.
For what it's worth, I think there are less healthy choices about.

General, and Korean chicken from a local grocery store. It's deep fried fiery goodness.

I'm with you on cheese. Through great effort of will, I've managed to cut back. Was seriously hooked on Cabot Extra Sharp white cheddar, for a time.

We buy these cheap $1 loaves of "everything" bread from Walmart, and make garlic bread out of them. It's the bomb, believe it or not.

i forgot: Cheez it crackers.

Love 'em. Believe it or not, I prefer the "reduced fat" variety, they're crispier.

Oh yeah, kettle cooked Cape Cod potato chips.

Sea salt caramel gelato.

I do not have a big sweet tooth but I may have to try this (and then die of a heart attack)

The gourmet doughnut shop, with an outlet in San Diego, has created a Pop Tart stuffed doughnut dubbed the “Big Poppa Tart Donut.” The over-the-top treat, which weighs in at one pound, was supposed to be a one-week special.

But once introduced, it became so “popular that there was no way I could pull it off the menu,” owner-baker Santiago Campa said this week.

Fried catfish. Nobody cooks it better than Mississippi and Louisiana. When I'm in either state I eat fried catfish every single day, sometimes twice a day.

Ice tea. I drink it by the gallon.

Kraft mac n cheese spirals-there is no addiction program in the country that can help me (add a little cooked ground beef and diced bell pepper and or a little salsa). :)
