Im kinda neutral on this because I've never eaten at Chipotle. I usually go for the mom and pop Mexican restaurants if I want to eat Tex-Mex food.

I enjoyed the NZ dildo attack. It was mentioned in the news here somewhere a week or two back, but it kind of surprised me how far the show took it! American TV always seems a little on the prudish side, but literal in your face dicks was something else!

Unless I'm in a Mall, where there are never any mom and pop restaurants, I always try to eat at mom and pop places. These chain/franchise places can all go to hell. They all suck.

Anyway I've never eaten at a Chipotle either. There's too many good mom and pop Mexican restaurant around here to give Chipotle crap a try. Same with Italian. I haven't been to a Pizza Hut or Olive Garden in YEARS. Last time I was at an OG I ordered Baked Ziti. It was cold in the middle. All they must have done was put a frozen Baked Ziti in the microwave. lol. That was my last time there. If I want a frinckin TV Dinner I can go to the grocery store and buy 1 for a hell of a lot less than Olive Garden charges for their TV Dinner.

I sorta think it's the concept of the food preparation and serving but, others have done the same without killing or poisoning anyone. [see, Freebirds]

Amazingly enough, many of those chains are packed on a daily basis. We have friends that for one reason or another rejoice in eating out at those place but, I'm with you...life is too short to eat crappola.

Yep. I was in NYC a week ago. There's an Olive Garden in Times Square. The place was packed. In NYC for God's sake. There's an Italian Restaurant on every block in Manhattan, and probably the best Italian food outside of Italy is in NYC, yet OG was packed? Some people have no taste. And what's worse it was probably packed with tourists. lol. They go all the way to NYC to eat at an OG?!?!

You've never eaten there, but you have determined Chipotle is "crap".

I don't get that at all.

LOL did you complain?

Thats exactly what happened to me when I ordered a lasagna at a Marie Callender's back in the 90's, it was frozen in the middle. Pretty much all the major chain restaurants actually have over a dozen industrial strength microwaves with which to cook their prepackaged frozen food, thats the norm.

I've eaten there, and it is quite good.

To each their own. I could have just had a bad experience and just haven't gotten back around there to eat again plus hearing about their lack of proper food handling doesnt help to get me to go back.

"Wanna meet me for lunch at Chipotle?'

"No thanks":thumbdown

I love Chipotle and Queba, which I equate as being exactly the same. I don't eat there all the time, but I love it when I can get it. Hell...I eat at McDonald's occasionally, and if I'm going to eat there, then Chipotle isn't my major concern.

No I didn't. I just protested with my wallet. I've never eaten there again.

Yep. Which is why there's no way any chain restaurants food will be better than a good mom and pop place.
