So, I went to a few websites, got a basic "pizza dough" going, it's in the oven rising (I just put the oven at lowest temp, wait for it to ding, cover dough in bowl and turn off oven, put it in and let it rise)

For filler I have Italian Sausage, that I need to cook. It's pre-ground so "easy" mode. Pepperoni, sliced one each HEB stuff. We got Crimini Mushrooms, onion, ricotta, a 4 "Italian" cheese blend of provolone, mozzarella, Asiago and some other white cheese. Shush it's in the fridge and I'm at the PC atm. :p

Sauce is... okay I'm cheating a LITTLE here. HEB Portobella and Onion sauce (no sugar, nice basic marinara) that I seasoned up with a blend of Basil, Bay leaf Garlic and Thyme.

So, in 2 hours, after the dough is ready, we'll rollout the Calzones, and try our hand at doing this. I've never tried home made pizza or calzones so... maybe it rocks, maybe not. I'll post some pics and give you a report when it's ready.

Mmmm.... nom nom nom.

Sounds good.

After several days of dull basic foodstuffs, Son#1 and I braved the Snowmageddon roads for some Applebees tonight. We had an appetizer of Sriracha shrimp, then baby back ribs for the main. Yum.

Tomorrow I'm making spaghetti with meaty garlic and herb sauce and French-loaf garlic bread.

Don't understand calzones.... Just have a pizza.
