Food makers' secret ingredient: Less salt, fat

My cousin opened a restaurant called Bacon and Butter a couple years ago and they are always packed with standing lines out the door.

People can say what they want on polls, consumers vote with their purchases. Taste is now, has always been and will always be the number one consideration.

i'd like more lower fat and lower calorie options at those restaurants. however, i'm against changing the current items. if i budget for a fat-heavy burger and salty fries, then i want them as is. i make up for it with every other meal, and i exercise daily.

as for lower salt, no. i spent enough time logging fat and calories; i'm not going to worry about salt until i absolutely have to. my food diary started bugging me about salt, so i clicked the option to not track it.
