A friend of ours took some the advice of some stranger at a pet store to give her Great Danes goats milk to settle their stomachs. It killed one of them despite her rushing it to the vet when it started crying and the other survived with it's stomach pumped. She is overcome with guilt since she gave it to them.
While kittens can tolerate cows milk, no adult cats or dogs should have milk - cow's milk or goat's milk, particularly the latter. It causes their stomachs to bloat and the swelling cuts of blood supply to the intestines - which then kills that section of intestines.
Just thought I'd drop this tip.
