BBQ: Gas or charcoal?

my personal preference is charcoal, but i don't consider myself an expert.

Gas for speed and convenience....charcoal for real bbq....I do both admittedly not as much as I used too....its just not fun to go through all the setup prep and work to bbg for just two people...its FUN to do it for a small groups and more...I like it much better when we have company...than for just my wife and I.

Marshmellows are best roasted over charcoal or wood fires. Gas....not so much.

You mean grilling. Yes, I'm one of those people.

I think food tastes better over charcoal, but I use gas almost exclusively. It's so much more convenient.

I go with charcoal. It's seansons better and creates a nice grill. Gas is dangerous in my view and it doesn't create the richness in the food that chacoal does.
