Re: What is your resting heart rate?

Have a cousin who got in a bad bike wreck once. Heard one of the emergency responders say he was "a goner" because his pulse was in the thirties. He responded that he really wasn't hurt that badly and that was a fairly typical number for him.

Of course, he bicycled from Longmont to Boulder and back multiple times daily.

HR---50

BP---129/68

Just hit the big 'six oh' a few months back.

I do make it to the gym 4-5 times a week and chase the little white rock over the manicured green pasture as much as possible.

Re: What is your resting heart rate?

Resting Heart rate is 48.

Blood pressure is normally about 100/65. Lately it's been running a little higher. About 110/72. Of course it could be that my BodyBug is just off, too.

Re: What is your resting heart rate?

Resting heart rate is 59, and my BP is 109/61. Not bad, for an over-weight smoker who lives mostly on black coffee, chocolate and veggie burgers.

Wow, that's a pretty high dose you're taking. Have you spoken to your doctor about your night time symptoms? He/she may want to switch your meds if they're not working. Also, some medications interfere with the action of atenolol.
