Re: What did you have for dinner?

Tempura battered prawns, sweet potato fries. A salad of dill, parsley, and mesclun greens with cucumbers, yellow bell pepper, baby heirloom tomatoes, and carrots with a green goddess dressing (sets the dill off superbly).

For dessert, strawberries tossed in chopped basil, balsamic vinagrette, and lemon juice over a vanilla bean flan.

I will eat em when I having the crave for Chicken N Dumplings but do not feel like cooking. They are pretty good.

Re: What did you have for dinner?

I moved my lodge up to my Gram's culture camp up in the mountains. We went up there last night and I cooked some bison backstrap steaks, wild potatoes and onions and was able to get enough june berries for a couple of bowls for dessert.

Cooked on an open fire in my lodge.

Jamacian Jerk Wings and Thighs.

Local farm fresh kill wings and thighs, cooked over lump charcoal and pimento wood, marinated in Busha Browne's Jerk Seasoning,

Served with fire roasted dry rubbed sweet potatoes...

And Red Stripe!

I became hooked in the middle east, I have a small spit roasting oven that gives good results.
