A friend of mine at the gym today told me about a great program that gets one off the couch and running a 5K in just 9 weeks. I'm going to give it a shot:

It's a free self-training program and with no obligation..... I may post my progress in this thread, over the next 9 weeks. AND let me clue you - if I can do this, anyone can.
So, if you're willing - get off the couch and start training. We'll see who can post the best 5K time - last one to 5K is a rotten egg!
