May I suggest that the list of politcal leans be added to, like adding socialism, communism, fascism et cetera.
Or being revamped to be based on the political spectrum. i.e. the leans would be centre, right, far right, extreme right, left, far left, extreme left, top, bottom et cetera, or something along the lines of that.

Thanks for the feedback, but I am unsure what you mean by "top" or "bottom". Would you elaborate?
Also, conservative is normally associated with *right* and liberal is associated with *left*. In our current scenario, the left and extreme left are filled.

Extreme left would be socialism, extreme right is fascism.
When I said top and bottom I was referring to a four point spectrum. Socialism left, Fascism right, Libertarianism top, Authoritarian bottom.
 
The underlying issue is that socialism or fascism is not as romantic sounding as left/right or liberal/conservative. Few Americans would select them. Socialism might be very romantic to a few, but fascism would get little selections IMO.

Authoritarian might be a great addition to the list.

Maybe others will chime in and offer their perspective and if others agree that we need to revisit - we will. :)
