But it's animated and the sig won't accept it. I was just curious if that was restricted on purpose and I wondered if anyone was interested in allowing them? If it was abused beforehand, I understand, but I'd have never known if I didn't ask. I really would like to use it if possible, and if it's too big I can make it smaller. I really can't tell with a 1440x900 Monitor.
But yes, I thought it would be fun.
And I could also put this:
Of course, if glitter images are just not a good idea around here, y'all can just let me know. I just like them and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

After you've hit the browse button and selected your picture, select save signature. You'll land back on the edit signature page and if you scroll down, you'll see this:
Click on "Insert signature image" and you'll see this:
Cut (or copy) and paste that coding to wherever you want the image to show up in your signature - I've left the image in my signature to illustrate that I moved the coding to the end of the other text I had...though I did have to take a line out, since you can only have six lines. Oh well.

You may not upload animated images.
That's why I thought it was forbidden. Are only mods allowed to have animated sigs?

Usually uploads will only allow certain file types, animated or not. |

Often times (I don't know about here, haven't checked) avatar and signature images require a smaller file size than is allowed for a thread post image. That might explain why it will post in the message body but not a sig. That being said, I'm glad I have sigs and avatars turned off. |
