Thread: How about moving the warning notifications to the beginning of the title?

I've had instances where I see the title to the thread on the right hand side, but it only shows the first few words of the title. When Iclick on it, I have to read the full title to see if there is a warning somewhere in it. If you do it at the beginning, then it would be noticed even if it's on the right hand side in the list with only the first few words visible before even clicking on it.

Just a suggestion.

Another suggestion is either changing the warning to include the page or editing it to also include the page that the warning is on. Telling me it's #691 in a 60 page thread doesn't help much. But telling me it's on page 45 would get me there in a hurry.

I don't think many people are going to go back to the post # with the warning in it. I think it should be a pop up window when you come back to the thread after there's been a warning. You have accept that you've read it before you can post again. Is that possible? Heck if I know.

The number of posts-per-page is not the same for all posters. I have my PPP set at 40, the maximum, so threads have about 1/2 the number of pages as those on the forum default setting.

the warning label, should be a link to the actual warning.

The mod team discussed this before it was implemented. The warning post number will remain at the end of the post. It isn't that difficult because it is in the same place for everyone and is easy to see.

The software doesn't allow for a pop-up when there is a warning in the thread, sorry.

As Dianna stated, people have a different 'posts per page' setting. I too use 40 per page, so it wouldn't do any good to list what post on what page because those using 20 posts per page would have a tough time finding it without needing a calculator.
