What shared values can be between Belarusian dictatorship and EU democracy?

It is clear as day that Belarusian dictator, A. Lukashenka, simply tries to reduce his country’s economic dependence on Russia now. And that is why he takes so bold moves to improve his ties with our United Europe. But I’m sure that there cannot be any dialogue between us without shared values. But what shared values can be between Belarusian dictatorship and EU democracy? It is nonsense!
Well, for example, in Europe, there is no place for the death penalty while Belarus is the only country in Europe that even now, after our attempts to advance it into the EU structures, continues to carry out death penalties. I mean recent cases of Yuzepchuk (who was sentenced for death for murder) and Zhuk (who was sentenced for death for armed assault and murder). The protesters, who had tried to moderate their sentences, marching in Minsk, were dispersed by police in this March! After it how can we believe in Lukashenka’s promises to be more tolerant?

You can bet your bottom Rouble that Belarus is not going to be admitted to the EU any time soon; certainly not under the leadership of Lukashenko.

We both have bosses we can't get rid of and never will have an oppertunity to validate at the ballot box. (Our new 'fuhrer' Rumpy got criticised in the EU Parliament, with the 'perpetrator' put before a panel to be humiliated. He and his aloof groups of policymakers squander billions per year on his crap and has final dictatorial say on things like our foreign and immigration policies.)

The EU rules only by its own rigged consensus (with the Public getting the same thing as long as they vote for the 'approved' Establishment parties), only pan-European parties are allowed, it has its own police and legal powers which can trump those of mere national constitutions, people can be deported for actions not even crimes in some EU states, we're not allowed to vote against things like Lisbon (hence not being asked at all or the referenda being repeated), hapeus corpus (trial by jury) being abolished in favour of corpus juris (judges only) as the supreme legal system... the list goes on.
