If you play with fire, you get burnt. Labour's reward for 'tolerating' Islam has been infiltration by its orthodox agents:

I disagree with the good Minister when he says that 'radical' Islam is incompatible with the secularism of Labour. The party has been one of the cult's most famed political sops, which I suspect is the reason many Muslims spit so much bile at Labour for the War On Terror. Hitherto the Muslims were given every assurance that their every need and whim would be tended to, thus they felt extra-betrayed.

We've got supermosques being built, radical schools going unmolested and Sharia Law creeping its way in. Hell, Tessa Jowell refused to launch an enquiry over 7/7 in case the Muslims got even more angry and its Muslim peer threatened to mobilise thousands of seething Islamists onto the streets of London if Fitna got shown in Parliament. Special laws are designed to ring-fence Muslims off from the consequences of their own actions and criticism of their behaviour and aloofness. Ministers allow them to be cruel to animals and women and don't take on Muslims chewing them out for being asked to look out for signs of extremism - even the Prime Minister makes sickly Youtube videos promoting their Religion of Peace, prompted by fear of more terror. Not to mention the cranky Muslim Council of Britain being allowed to advise the government again, despite its links to extremism. The list goes on ad-infinitum.

No wonder the party's so attractive a proposition for usurption, given the sheer lack of work to do to remain inconspicuous.

At least this latest bit of cultural jihad may have the levelling effect of Labourites themselves experiencing the dhimmitude which they were keen to inflict on the rest of us, yet somehow avoid themselves.

Perhaps a great deal of Muslims think it's just being logical to take over a friendly governing party as there's a hell of a lot they want to change in a tolerant and diverse society. With Shahid Malik wanting to pack Parliament and government with Muslims - to the extent of an Islamic PM at the crown - it just seems an extension of the current order for both parties involved.

But all in all, though, with the genie let from the bottle, it will now be ten times harder to come to amicable conclusions with the latest clash of civilisations occurring on many levels. More Muslims play victim and demand 'rights' without responsibility, with politicians trying to satisfy the hunger by giving out ever more to try and head them off. This hits the sense of fair play for the rest of us, but we get told off for being 'intolerant' for fear of retribution if supplies of priviledges are stilted. (It's not as if the pushier Muslims return the favours by respecting the sensibilities of the host peoples.) I fear for the state of things in 2030 on current trajectory.
