One lad keeps trying to escape, but is always returned, Patrick McGoohan's Prisoner-style...

Six-year farce of the asylum seeker who wants to go home | Mail Online

...and the other resorts to attempted murder to try and get deported.

[Can't find the link, sorry.]

Meanwhile other failed asylum seekers aren't allowed to go home, even when Labour itself reckons that their home countries are too dangerous anyway.

Labour couldn't run a bath.

What exactly do you expect the government to do?

The first case there is no proof of his Moroccan citizenship so where do they send him? Morocco wont accept him because he cant prove he is a citizen, where do you send him?

The last one.. you are seriously advocating sending people to a war zone?

Sure I have no clue why the home office denied him assylum considering he is from Darfur, but come one.. you cant send people back to a war zone.

Funny how you pick these pathetic examples instead of some that actually can not be explained away.

Either that or the happy liberated regions of Iraq or Afghanistan. Well, we could if the Americans were also able to run a bath in terms of managing an occupation government. Other than with MacArthur's Japan they never really knew how.

Pete EU's right... where DO we put all these extra people? France, Spain or any other of the safe countries they passed through to get here?

Eh? why on earth should they be accepted in Iraq and Afghanistan? They not even citizens of said countries, not to mention they are war zones.

Well if you knew anything about the EU then you would know that one of the only rules that is EU wide when it comes to illegal immigration is that the country where the illegal enters the EU is the country with the problem, regardless of where in the EU they are found. That means if the people in question entered the UK via France and they originally came from say Italy then the UK can send them to Italy who then can deport them. This of course requires proof btw, so it is not that easy. The people usually sent back are people who are registered in some way in the country of origin.

But as far as I can see there is no information in the articles about how they got to the UK and as there is non, then they must have entered the UK directly.. So what do you do with them if they can not be sent back to their home country?

Don't blame the asylum seekers, blame the idiots in the government and their paper paradise. Dealing out passports isn't charity when you can't offer the asylum seekers basic human needs like housing, education and employment.
Every immigrant in NL has to learn dutch, it's mandatory. Sounds very nice untill you see the waiting list, NL is 7000 teachers short.

A bit of common sense - don't take them in if you can't do anything with them.
