That's all we need isn't it - Gordon Brown and his Darling walloping people for that much in tax just for the privilege of not even being a small counterweight to the amount of noxious gases the Chinese industries turn out.
Still, it diverts attention from the disasterous recession for a while, with all its own financial deadweights. But still, at least climate change is not as bad a threat as the BNP, eh?!
