Gender: | Re: some questions for British liberals (or labor) no, I'm interested in the genuine pursuit of knowledge within a structure conducive towards it and I think that requires a pretty high degree of elitism. |

The UK and the US do not achieve anything that stands out |

I've merely noted that the standard US/UK education comments aren't supported by wonders such as human capital investment |

I've already admitted that I generally bow to the supremacy of class, but that kind of empty bull**** Marxist rhetoric is ludicrous. This isn't East Germany. An architect that designs a building that can house more workers at a lower price isn't better then an architect that can design an actually attractive building. He may be more useful but that's entirely different. The entire Western world has admitted that maybe focusing exclusively on materialism is a tad monstrously dehumanizing. |

Human capital is a term that became popular from the Chicago school of economics. Referring to Marxist rhetoric is therefore really rather ropey! |

Gender: | Re: some questions for British liberals (or labor) I'm right wing? Knock knock, it's post-modernism, come to make a belated visit to your intellectual repertoire.
This isn't the 30s anymore the Utopian ideal has been thoroughly discredited. |
