Obviously the Irish will at some point be asked to vote a second time, but will whatever they vote on be anything like what the rest of the EU (refusing their citizens the right of a referendum vote) agrees to ratify in advance of that 2nd vote.
Such is the style of EU Democracy.
Keep shoving some form of an EU constitution in front of them, eventually it will be passed.
