Nice was ISIS

Muslims do not like dogs. They may own them for the purpose of defending their property. They are not supposed to be pets. In Mohammad time black dogs were killed on sight because they were believed to be the devil.

Dogs, being good judges of character, probably did not like Mohammad.

Correct. They especially don't like pedophiles.

So....you think this guy got a truck, automatic weapons, and grenades by himself?

If so...France has even bigger problems than if it was supported by ISIS.

Yep!

"Police found two automatic weapons, ammunition, a mobile phone and documents in the truck, the prosecutor said. They also found fake weapons in the vehicle and more documents at Lahouaiej-Bouhlel’s residence."

We don't know all that he had or didn't have. But do you think he got what he had on his own?

Not for a second.

What is known publicly about Bouhlel so far suggests a troubled, angry, sometimes violent man with little interest in the group's ultra-puritanical brand of Islam. Neighbors described the father of three as a volatile man, prone to drinking and womanizing, who was in the process of getting a divorce. His own father, in Tunisia, said his son did not pray or fast for Ramadan, the Muslim holy month.

But in a statement to reporters, Cazeneuve hinted that Bouhlel may have had a last-minute adoption of a more extremist worldview.

"It seems he was radicalized very quickly," he said.

The Islamic State group claimed credit for the Nice attack via its:

My son spilled his drink on the dinner table. I got a phone call about a minute later, it was ISIS taking credit for it!

I dunno what is more shocking that you have a son or that you are civilized enough to eat at a dining table!.. will ISIS take credit for that too?

ISIS would likely take credit for a tornado if they thought it would boost their image. ;)

All jokes aside, and there's been dozens of "Isis would take credit for_______" jokes made; are we dismissing the fact that Isis is recruiting online?

Isis is like any other modern organization, they have online forums devoted to discussing their beliefs. Most of us just don't know about them because we don't speak Arabic, and we're not looking for these forums.Consider:

Supporters of the Islamic State, or ISIS, around the world gather online, becoming members of virtual communities in much the same way any of us might join online groups focused on some common interest. The videos, audio messages, letters, chatter and know-how that they then share are much more sinister than typical online hobbies, though. They may ultimately inspire terrorist acts by individuals who have no prior history of extremism, no formal cell membership, no direct links to leadership.

Isis is possibly recruiting people online and I think many people are just ignoring it. This is a mistake.
