Sorry to say, whether you want it or not, the consequences of making war in the Middle East will continue to land on ordinary Americans.And Brits, and French, and any others who think they can bring force to bear on the 'sand niggers' with impunity.
Unfortunately the option of just staying away and letting things alone may be a window that closed awhile ago.

I agree with you that the U.S. and Europe will continue to suffer for our governments sins. You can't bomb Iraq one minute, then offer 100,000 Iraqis a new home in the U.S. without deadly repercussions.

American government is owned by billionaires who convince sitting presidents to do their bidding for them. These billionaires want to disrupt the Mideast, and a steady stream of new immigrants. Lucky for them, their kids never go off to war, or get killed by terrorist attacks.
