you are misusing the term" liberal"

the Freedom party in Austria is a populist national liberal party who, indeed, supports the welfare state.

they combine populism, nationalism and liberalism..... not modern liberalism with it's habit of moving steadily towards authoritarianism, but more of a classical liberalism.

Perhaps he was referring to the very recent past, last year, when Muslims burned Moath al-Kasasbeh, the Jordanian pilot, alive.

It's not really that simple since other 'western' nations not subject to a refugee influx are deviating to traditionally non-mainstream political choices. Why is America considering the anathema to their traditional ideals in Sanders and Trump if Islamism is a cause? It's a card to play, but it's the economy really.

Both have mentioned Muslims. Bernie Sanders has been supported by Al Jazeera as a result of several of his Muslim friendly policies, while Donald Trump wants a halt, temporarily anyway, to Muslim immigration. Why Muslim Americans should vote for Bernie Sanders - Al Jazeera English

You'd hand the keys to extremists who could do more damage to the country than Islamic Terrorists could ever dream of doing, and the thing is, that's their goal, their goal is to force the us to overreact, force us to alienate Muslims, force us to change our way of life, they've succeeded and it's because of fearful people, silent in the face of government intrusion into our privacy as an example.

There is probably a lot of truth to what you wrote. But, sometimes the guy who starts a fight needs to have his ass kicked.

Cruz's idea of carpet bombing ISIS is probably the most realistic solution on the table. It beats Donald's, "Let's not let any Muslims in" and Sander's, "What's ISIS?" approaches to the problem.

Hillary will probably blow them to bits too. She's just too smart to say it.
