Just read it. Let that sink in.

An educated, rational man asked some random Muslim to explain the Brussels attack and Tweeted his disgusted response. No suggestion of rudeness or compulsion. This alone caused liberal-minded toilet brushes to have the guy arrested, presumably for wacial and weligious hatred, which can carry a seven year jail term, just for this.

And to think lefties and Muslims rail against a police state against them! Not too scared to cause trouble, are they!

because the guy acted like a dick

just because she is Muslim he assumes what...that she supports what happened, that she is a terrorist, that he has a right to accost her in public...

the guy is a self-serving, ass with limited understanding and intelligence

Is acting like a dick a crime? I think not. Is asking questions a crime? No, not unless you physically hurt someone in the process.

Even being a self serving ass with limited understanding and intelligence is not a crime.

Even if everything else vanishes, never give that up. Even if the wrong - or indeed 'wrong' - guys have the upper hand in national arguments, you can still avoid civil war and discuss your way to all your answers.

Why do you say that? I don't see he did anything horrid in asking the woman. And her having no opinion is a little provocative.

I can expect Europe to enforce basic human rights, in this case the right to free speech..

Actually you really can't. What passes for free speech here does not matter in the UK.

We've got enough problems protecting our own rights, let alone rights in other countries.

I often think that when I read your posts. Anyhow - why should she have an opinion? Why should her not being able to answer for someone who she has little chance of knowing be provocative?

Or are you going to insult my questions again as a way out of answering?

An idiot "confronted" a random female stranger demanding she answer his question about an event she knew nothing about. The basis for his action could be interpreted as racist, so that's what he was charged with. His tweet bragging about his action has drawn mass ridicule.

Should we throw the quran in jail and completely ban it because a TON of stuff in it "could be interpreted as racist"..

Having read this, I just donned a niqab, hid my admittedly very non-feminine carcass in a burqa, then walked up and down the pueblo street in the hope of somebody asking me to explain Bruxelles and got nothing.

Well, truth be told, what I got was "Oh heck, look at Chagos, he's at it again. Confusing Easter with Carnival".

Guess I'll have to switch back to normal clothes and go out in the hope of running into some Muslim girl to ask the same question. I'll post results (if any) on here, seeing how I don't tweet and am not on FB

The things one has to do these days to get one's 5 minutes of fame.
