A Kurdish father whose daughter was shot dead at a wedding in Germany has posted a picture of her lying in a pool of blood on his Facebook page and is demanding justice.

He wrote that his beloved 21-year-old daughter Shilan had rejected an arranged marriage to her cousin and had paid for it with her life during a wedding ceremony in Hanover, Germany.

The father, named as Ghazi H., 50, posted the harrowing image of his daughter on Facebook as police continued to hunt for the cousin.

He said that his Kurdish family had fled Iraq heading to Germany when his daughter was just three, and he said she had grown up as a self-confident young woman with German citizenship, studying property management at college in Hanover.

Point?

It's significant to us all since we're being forced to accept Islam.
Again, isolated islands are probably immune.

What do you mean, being forced to accept Islam? Where are you?

Vote Trump.. He is the only one being real about this situation..

California.

And you're being forced to accept Islam? For one thing, why do you need to be forced? For another, who's doing the forcing?
I'm not 'immune' to anything but I am sometimes startled at how your society has devolved and fractured and become so friggin' mutually suspicious and confrontational.

Umm, who arranged for the marriage? Isn't the father the one who normally does these things?

This is just the natural result of trying to integrate a culture that's polar opposite to our own.
Am I suspicious of Islam? Hell yes I am. There's way too much evidence that Islam is a destructive force on anyone who is devout in practicing it.

The guy in this story who killed his cousin would probably not face legal ramifications in his native Iraq. The fact that he was living in a country that doesn't allow you to kill a woman for refusing to marry you had no sway on him whatever. Assimilation not only failed here, it failed miserably.

I can smell your fear.

I'd guess that the woman's father would be aware of it, but if its the family tradition to marry your cousin, it might have been out of his control to stop it.

I can smell your fear.

No you can't. And don't confuse rational thinking to fear my friend, that's a major mistake in your part.
You obviously favor an open society, but point me in the direction of one single example where its worked in world history.

Oh yes I can. You're afraid of Muslims. You think they threaten you. Your fear is tangible.
I don't know what an 'open society' is and you obviously can't know my opinion of it.

That's terribly sad. Poor girl. RIP.

It would appear this family fled Iraq 18 years ago when Kurds were being persecuted by Saddam Hussein. Her immediate family were against an arranged marriage and her Dad stopped it. It sounds very much like this young lady and her family have integrated very well and do not support such idiotic traditions.

Not sure why the article has the eyes covered of the suspect, refuses to name the full name of the victim, her father or those involved and it's only being reported by sites I wouldn't generally click on. How the hell do you find a suspect with the aid of the public assistance if you don't know what he looks like. Quite bizzare really. Perhaps some of the more reputable sites will pick it up.

And yet this young lady and her family had integrated very well hadn't they?

You realize how easily I could claim that you're a helluva lot more fearful of this than me?
After all, how did you come to live on an island off the coast of Canada? What's the population there? 1,000 people?

His point was obvious, like many other strings showing the violence and intolerance of Muslim immigrants.

your "point" was to harass his legitimate string start with Hostile but Empty replies: of which this as the first.
OP responses like "so what?," "Your point,?" "and?", are all noxious harassment, especially to legitimate OPs like this one.

Anyone who blames all Muslims for something that some of them do is a hate-filled bigot.

We are being forced to accept Islam, and not always by Muslims.

In the UK news recently, Labour Muslims still dominate in their noxious discrimination against women. Bradford Council had to tick off a care home run by Muslims due to 'inmates' refused pork products to eat. Lefties (by the looks) caused a cafe owner to battle in court over frying bacon offending Muslims and, in Germany, Merkel's party had to make a point that they don't defend public cafeteria banning pork because it offends the Muslims.

Honestly, the casebook piles up, and with far worse.
