A man racially abused an 81-year-old pensioner as he walked to a mosque before launching a fatal drink and drug-fuelled attack with his friend, a court has heard.

Dale Jones flew into a 'raging fury' following a day and evening of drinking and taking drugs and accused Mushin Ahmed of being a 'groomer', Sheffield Crown Court heard.

Jones and Damien Hunt punched, kicked and stamped on Mr Ahmed as he made his way to prayers at the mosque in Rotherham, the jury was told.

Andrew Robertson QC, prosecuting, said: 'Since his retirement (Mr Ahmed) had been a regular attender at the mosque.

'In the early hours of Monday August 10 last year, he set off to the mosque for prayers. He never made it to the mosque. On his way there, just after 3am, he was attacked and murdered.'

"Europe" is not the only one with that sickness.. we usually take after the US.. or have you forgotten the Sikh man murdered after 9/11 because he was mistaken as a Muslim?

Total fabrication, there are plenty of places around the globe where there simply is not tolerance and respect for all cultures in the mix. The sickness is humanity, and we are everywhere designing excuse after excuse to harm one another.

Grow the hell up treehouse, taking one story does not damn "The Europe" while you monumentally ignore all the killing going on day after day... some of which is happening in our own backyard.

Discrimination is universal throughout egery country in the world. Crazy morons are also universal throughout the world.

In that case, the world has this sickness you speak of.

There are lots of stories in the UK where men on their way home from drinking have attacked a vulnerable person regardless of race, religion and gender. Your thread fails I'm afraid.

I know they do have a sickness. There is a large part of central Europe that has become a lawless zone where tens of thousands of Radical Europeans are raping and murdering anyone who does not agree with their ultra conservative European view of the world.

Oh no waiiitttt thats Muslims in the middle east who are doing that......
