Keighley abuse: Twelve men jailed for sexually exploiting girl

"Twelve men who sexually exploited a vulnerable teenage girl in West Yorkshire have received jail sentences of up to 20 years.

Eleven were jailed at Bradford Crown Court after being convicted of raping the girl in Keighley from the age of 13.

Another man was sentenced for sexual activity with the same girl.

The trial heard how the teenager was repeatedly attacked over a period of 13 months, between 2011 and 2012" [...]

"The court heard Mahmood, who pleaded guilty to several charges at an earlier hearing, is currently serving an eight-year jail sentence for raping a woman in a park in Keighley and trying to abduct a 10-year-old girl.

Kabir, who received the greatest jail term of 20 years, was also sentenced for 12 sexual offences against two other young girls after being found guilty at a separate trial"

Another city, another heinous act of organised gang rapes, the same perpetrators, two brothers as part of the gang, again. ALL so familiar.
 
Culture clash. What is acceptable practice in certain cultures, is almost always immoral and illegal in western cultures.
 
I think Ann Cryer will be feeling saddened but vindicated after this. I'm very glad to see the justice system calling criminals to account for horrible crimes. I heard this news just an hour or so after watching a very depressing Panorama report on the failure of the criminal justice system to bring people to account for horrific violent crimes in Salford, just 30 miles away from Keighley.

For a change the story didn't revolve around culture clashes, race or migration, but that was probably because the victims and the perpetrators were all overwhelmingly white and British. It did make me wonder however that had the majority of the criminals been black or Asian, would so few convictions have taken place? And conversely, had most of the victims been black or Asian, would the outrage from the political and media classes have been so muted?

Worth a watch...

These 'criminals' seem to be popping up so regular, act so very similar to the previous gang, that any logical person would think there is something else. Brothers involved again, it does make you wonder :shock:
 
Just the most horrible story. Far too regularly we're getting these stories.

The jury previously heard her meetings with the men had been arranged by "drug dealer" Arif Choudhury, who was not on trial.

Arif Choudhury played a part in the procuring of the victim so why wasn't he on trial too? I'm puzzled - unless he made a plea bargain.

You think there's coordination going on? Perhaps a concerted rape jihad policy being rolled out? If not, what precisely does it make you wonder?

What is sad, is these are just the ones that got caught.

What is sadder still, is there are many who will fight for the RIGHT for more to come and do the same thing.

My wife is quite attractive, but if I was living in their part of the world, she would be covered in a burka from head to toe. There is a reason they do that. Women's husbands and brothers have known for millenia there are men that are above the law and can rape whom ever they want. Shira Law does not help. That is why they wrap their women up in black bed sheets and have them escorted if they leave the house.

You KNOW these bastids have done this many times before in the country they came from. Now they are used to it.

This post is a classic example.

a) Muslim men rape UK woman...girls really

b) Muslim APOLOGISTS makes a post saying OH Yeah, well looky here, in an effort to divert and minimize the crime they comitted. Just be glad one day it does not happen to YOUR kin one day. I pray not, but if it does, some APOLOGIST will try and divert & minimize.

KARMA is funny that way.

Who the hell is downplaying anything? It is an outrage what these men did.. but it is an outrage EVERY time men or women abuse women.. or dont you agree with that?

One could ask why you and others are not going after the other sexual exploration gangs that are not Muslim? Are you apologists for them?

I think there's coordination going on? WTF. So, you think that the transportation of these children, from man-to-many, from city-to-city, between gangs, is not coordinated action?

and coming right back at you, why did you not AGREE that they did was wrong until now? Hmmm?

That could have been your FIRST POST but it was not.

Your FIRST POST DIVERTED the bad they did and pointed at others, rather than agreeing with everyone that what these MUSLIM men did was wrong.

Your fist post was to divert and dismiss, by pointing to others.....NOT agreeing what they did was in any way bad. Your very first post was APOLOGIZING for them and attempting to divert attention away from their crimes.

That is the Classic definition of an APOLOGIST.

Your first action was to divert and dismiss. That tells me where your heart is.

I clearly wasn't referring to coordination within groups, of course the groups have internal dynamics, organisation even, although the Keighley case seems to have been a series of opportunistic, spontaneous attacks by a bunch of friends and associates on one or two targeted and groomed victims.
So, you think that the transportation of these children, from man-to-many, from city-to-city, between gangs, is not coordinated action?

I didn't read anything in the reports from Keighley that this was taking place. 'City-to-city'? I've just been trying to find reference to coordination of groups between cities and transportation of victims. I couldn't find anything. Have you got some links?

There is no apology for this kind of behavior but the problem is that some people like to imply that this kind of thing only happens with bearded Muslim men (or mainly). Today in the Dutch media there was a Dutch professional beach volleyball player (21 and as white a can be) who got to know a 12 year old girl and traveled to her in the UK several times to have sex with her, even though he was absolutely aware of her age of 12.

This does not make the case of him worse or less worse than if it had been a Muslim who had done it, at least to objective people, to subjective Muslim hating people it is evidence that all Muslims are child/women rapists who have just not committed their foul acts yet. And that it is only a matter of time before they start offending and raping everything in a skirt.

This is the problem, Peter. An offender's ethnicity or culture is only irrelevant if that person is white and from a judaeo-christian culture. If the offender is black, Muslim or just, y'know, really foreign, then ethnicity, religion and culture is a central factor in explaining, relating to and dealing with the offending behaviour. Failure to bring in racial or cultural factors means you are an apologist for the offending behaviour, unless you bring in white/judaeo-christian factors, then you are playing the race card or are anti-white.

I'd have thought you'd have got this by now.

This kind of behaviour is disgusting, irrespective of who the perpetrators of such heinous crimes are. I don't see it as "worse" because it's muslims, I find it repulsive, period.

Really? There seemed to be far more coverage of what Catholic priests got up to and lots of discussion about how the culture surrounding the sacrament of priesthood enabled it. That kind of open discussion tends to be healthy.

What's good for the goose....

Ah yes, I forgot I was watching it with a VPN. Thanks for that Serenity. Disturbing to say the least. The local MP interviewed in that film is a good friend of mine, in fact I worked for him back in the Eighties as his election coordinator/spokesperson. As you could see from the interviews, he's not a scintillating speaker, but he certainly is a terrific local MP. He's tearing his hair out about this issue.

The first time it was aired, was last night. There was nothing wow about it. It was based on scientific research, and how our brains are trained to be 'racist ' by our experience. Your point?

Naw it was aired half a year ago.. BBC 3 aired it for the first time last night.. a rerun. But regardless it is eye opening and I suspect if you did the same experiment in any western country you would get the same results.
