Yes, racism is a learned behaviour. Passed down to the younger generations like the family good china.

You are right it is heinous regardless of who commits the crime. This should all be about the victim and punishing the culprit.

You seem to forget that a priest is not just a man who is religious, a priest is in charge of the people in his flock. He was misusing the power of his office/vocation/calling to molest children. Children who were placed at his mercy by the parents who though he was the spiritual leader and guide/all around good guy for their children.

Now if an Imam was found doing this that would be a comparable case, but this is not about someone misusing their religious stature/religious position of power to abuse.

All of that does not make the suffering of the child worse, except for the double whammy this child has to suffer. First the loss of her innocence to some perverted sick moron. And then to realize that someone who had a position of trust does something to a child in such a manner. A further problem that angers many is that the church was keeping their child-raping priests safe by moving them around to new hunting grounds so that they could keep abusing their position of trust.

For the rest a child raping priest is just as bad as a child raping commoner/regular person. Because it is not their faith that causes them to rape, it is their pedophile nature that is doing that.

Your FIRST POST DIVERTED the bad they did and pointed at others, rather than agreeing with everyone that what these MUSLIM men did was wrong.

Your fist post was to divert and dismiss, by pointing to others.....NOT agreeing what they did was in any way bad. Your very first post was APOLOGIZING for them and attempting to divert attention away from their crimes.

No, it wasn't concentrating on that type of learned behaviour. You do it subconsciously. The mixed race girl was shocked at her results, and it was consistent with others doing the experiment.

Anyway, whether you are attacked by a Jihadist or not is no reason to blame an entire religion. Even less reason to remonstrate how "the neighborhood is going to the dogs" because a "Mussie"-family moved in.

This is a very Brave New World (not Huxley's) that we exist in - so you'd best give proper attention to your own Brit-rowdies who are banned from soccer-games because of their habit to drink 'n fight. I suspect that they are an even greater threat physically.

Too true, but as regards the Roman Catholic church it was also Rome that preferred that such "incidents" were kept confidential.

So, the Holy See has its own grim implication in the matter to address ...

Sadly yes, and that has lead to millions more victims because the holy see has decided that they are a law unto themselves and that they are above the limits and responsibilities that other institutions are held to.

You seem to forget the institutional enabling of these activities, which is what is comparable between the two.

Functionally, it is recognized as another country. But the diplomatic status of those who work abroad for the Vatican is limited to those individuals. Ordinary priests/nuns are not covered by that status.

There is nothing in most countries that prevents them from being taken to court as priest/preacher for improper conduct. (Unfortunately, in the US, that does no cover those who "preach-God and pilfer people of their money". And they are many - of course, anyone who thinks they can buy their way into heaven likely deserves to get "plucked" ...)

Yes, but in the past they moved around the priests so that they would not be prosecuted for their crimes.
