Muslim women 'stopped from becoming Labour councillors'

"Historically" . yep history as rewritten by the left. True history: the first female British Member of Parliament was a Conservative; the first female party leader was a Conservative; the first felmale Prime Minister was a Conservative. I was once a Conservative party member (and candidate) I did not know even ONE fellow member who thought that "women have no business in politics"; you are inventing factoids because they suit your prejudices.

The clue is the small 'c'.

No separating crowds by gender and looking the other way with gender equality in the Muslim community is pandering.

But separating crowds by gender, social-economic reasons and so on, has been conservative policy for centuries...

Hilarious that you accuse me of this and yet you do it yourself.

True history: the first female British Member of Parliament was a Conservative;

Yes one she inherited from her husband during a time when the Conservative Party was by far the biggest party in the UK....funny how you forgot to mention that.

the first female party leader was a Conservative; the first felmale Prime Minister was a Conservative.

Yes but it is amazing that you forget to mention how hard it was for her to become leader of the Conservative Party... the old boys club tried to block her at every turn and ultimately put the dagger in her back that forced her out of office.

I was once a Conservative party member (and candidate) I did not know even ONE fellow member who thought that "women have no business in politics"; you are inventing factoids because they suit your prejudices.

Not the normal topic of conversation in the all mens clubs...
