British armaments merchants violate international law

Two wrongs don't make a right.
............but my interest in pointing out what I did lies in addressing your selective accusation.

Except you appear to be blind to one of those wrongs. Was there any particular reason why you stayed silent about the wrongs of your own country, and emphasised the wrongs of another?
.................a question I can only second.

I think I made it clear, I agree with his criticism of British arms sales to Saudi Arabia. I just don't get the singling out of the 4th or 5th largest player in Middle East arms sales while ignoring numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Neither do I.

Beyond which I share your criticism and wrt to anyone supplying Saudi, no matter what their world rank.

My opening post was breaking news.

It's very telling that you missed this kind of breaking news...

Francois Hollande's 'war' with Isis won't stand in the way of France's arms deals with Saudi Arabia | Comment | Voices | The Independent

That was less than 8 weeks ago. Let's see whether you were outraged back then... oh, apparently not.

Listen Heinrich, we all have our bias and our prejudices, it's just that when yours are exposed it's better to just fess up and say, "Yeah, I get a bit irrational with....." We understand, you can't always be super-impartial, but neither can you always hide your prejudices.

Followed by a roundabout punch at England, something that's looking to be a hobby of yours.

But seeing that you're now perceiving it as something else, congratulations on your enactment of the Echternacher Pilgerschritt , no doubt known to you.

popular term in Germany

.............. At one stage the pilgrims would take three steps forward and two steps backwards, thus taking five steps in order to advance one................At yet another time, pilgrims would crawl under a stone, facing the cross of St. Willibrord........................
seems fitting.
this dance was prohibited in 1664.
and I should bloody well think so too.

One thing I cannot be accused of is being biased, Andalublue.

I have noticed that the English are hyper-sensitive to criticism. I cannot explain this trait, Chagos.

Well, you have refused to answer the questions asked of you, so not only can you be accused of bias, you ARE accused of bias.

What do you say in your defence?

So, you answer accusations of being anti-British by making anti-English jibes. Yeah, that's convincing.

I'm sorry, I did not invent the Guardian story, Andalublue.

Forgive me for making an honest observation.

Nobody's asking you to, since that's hardly the issue here. It's more (coming back to the real issue) about your propensity to attack the Brits.

Is that something you can explain?

I only report breaking news and provide an honest reaction. Sorry.
