This is what Europeans can expect in the “new normal.” A number of my readers didn’t venture out. “It’s way too dangerous on the streets of Berlin on New Year’s Eve.” For those who did, a large group of Muslims sexually harassed scores of young women in and around the main train station of Cologne. They even ripped off one girl’s stockings and underwear. “They were with their hands really everywhere. This is something I’ve never experienced,” said one 22-year old victim. “When we called for help, they laughed.” Bags and valuables had “been robbed.” And one 17-year-old is quoted as saying: “I had fingers on every orifice”….. here. It sounds just like Tahrir Square in Egypt, when “freedom movement” revelers were sexually attacking any woman that dare venture out. Think Lara Logan.

There is nothing in the article to support that the perpetrators were Muslim - despite the naked allegation by Pamela Geller. And if you don't know Pamela Geller, then I suggest you start here:

I expected a standard "attack the source" tactic, hence also the LiveLeak post that contains links to less suspect German source material. I have to post English language links or else some people will use it as a silly excuse to go after me. I know who bloody Pamela Geller is.

Your live link only denotes that large amount of sexual harassment took place - not the identity of the perpetrators. So yea, I am going to attack the only source that mirrors your title because you have chosen to accept the naked assertion from an Islamophobe.

Pathetic source attack. There are also 3 German links referred to in the liveleak post and this news in the past few hours is beginning to appear in all Dutch language mainstream newspapers. But I notice it is quite common when there is politically incorrect news to attack the source.

Have you got any sources for large groups of Christian men, of men in general, that regularly do this kind of stuff? What comes to mind, was the female reporter (and a few other females) attacked during the Egyptian uprising. Western attacks, on the whole, seem to be committed by one perpetrator or very small groups.

What finds little mention but the Cologne police reports nevertheless, is that a helluva lot got stolen from anyone so unlucky as to be in the station.

Mainly pick-pocketing but all the way up to grab and run, using the distraction that the victims being grabbed and mauled provided. Old railway station tactic and here there are as many complaints from males as there are from females.

That's not to detract from the fact that all witnesses have described the numerous gang(s) as having looked North African or Arab.

Nor from the fact that the harassment of females did not, by all reports, confine itself to distraction purpose only. On the contrary, one went so far as to even shoving his hand down a female plain clothes cop's pants.

Sounds pretty much like an organized flash crowd interpreting New Year's eve and night in its own way, that way being completely criminal.

Like with all good muslims many of them were completely drunk.

Well, it was easy for some to criticize LiveLeak but hard for some to click on the German links there and use Google translate.

Anyway, the Daily Fail is probably exaggerating just a tad with "up to 1000 men".

Cologne central after dark is a known hazard spot. Thievery, drug dealing and general molesting is nothing new.

What is new, at least for the moment, are the numbers for a usual week being constricted into one night, even if it happens to be the night of the year were most everybody gets drunk.

The Cologne cops are getting a real bashing now and one can only hope that this will lead to a policy change. But it's bloody hypocritical as well, the problem spot has been known for ages without any pertinent action being taken by the politicos or any reporter seeing it worth much of a report.

The cops in the area are simply understaffed due to coffers being empty and were even more so on New Year's night, even with being trebled by reinforcements.

I did translate your German article. It did not say Muslim either. That was the point of my criticism. It was directed at you for quoting a baseless Pam Geller claim.

Like it or not, this story is only a story because it happens to have those evil muslims involved... while similar actions, which happen daily, are ignored by the media (mostly)... hypocrisy at its worst.

Diversion tactic? Give me a break.... everyone knows that men harass women on a daily basis world wide, and yes in the west as well. It might be a single man, a small group or a whole construction site.. but it happens.. and it happens often. And yet you go all ape**** when a bunch of most likely drunk men, who may or may not have been "muslim" do it on New Years Eve, where cat calling, fondling and even worse of women is sadly rather common everywhere.

Was this, if true (still not convinced at all considering the sources given), then yes it is disgusting but is this not also?

Perhaps it became the routine for these places as Chagos was describing, so it isn't surprising anyone anymore, although I have to say that this many offenders and this many sexual assaults in a single night in a specific, relatively small location is indeed beyond ridiculous. Kinda like a walking dead scenario where the zombies are raping people.

Now you are talking bull****. I have in no way said that Muslim men in the UK (or elsewhere) are NOT disproportionately involved in child grooming.. they most likely are... Islam is like Christianity a sexist male dominated religion... What I have been protesting about is, that this is used in racist political attacks against all Muslims, when child grooming and abuse is rampant in the whole of society and is often covered up or ignored by "the usual suspects" when it is done by "non-Muslims". The UK Parliament pedophile group under Thatcher comes to mind.. funny how little we hear about that, and yet time and time again the "muslim child grooming" cases come up. Funny also how we almost never hear (relatively speaking) about the child abuse and grooming by the Catholic Church or other Christian religious cults.. but when Muslim men do it.. then "!!OMFGS burn all Muslims!!"
