10% of "refugees" infected with tuberculosis

Non English links are against forum rules and a cause for multi week long bannings.

Not all but quite many. And I notice the proponents of immigration like to throw the word "fear" and "frightened" around, like there are no other possible emotions after hearing you're going to be paying for "free" healthcare for all these people.

You've never even rad a story on the processing of refugees have you?

I'm sorry but it is a gross and misleading of the truth.

Here are the facts...

Vaccination Requirements | USCIS

If your little story has any truth it will surface in the English press. Or, you could translate it for us with Google Translate. I say it is more fear mongering.

I'm shaking in my boots at the though of the cost of anti-anxiety meds

Hopefully they'll be among those who stay. My guess is that half will go back to Syria after the dust settles but we'll see.

From the interview, it sounds like they have nothing to return to. What astonishes me is all the crying....like they think they've made to Canada. I want to shout at them "wait till you have to fill tax forms!"

To the point though, you can't say they're infected, the whole refugee camp thing is to take care of that. In an argument with the OP I went looking for "Syrian, Refugees, Health, Risk and got this"

syrian refugees health risk - Bing

Syrian Refugees At High Risk For Mental Health …

The number one worry across the entire internet is for THEIR mental health. If there is a risk it is that we will have a whole new batch of PTSD sufferers

I get as top item "Winter Brings Health Risks for Syrian Refugees - …". Well, at least I learned something new today, that some people use this "Bing" thingy instead of Google.

As a kid we had a tb scare at school, when a teacher came down with it. We all had to be checked.

We were all vaccinated against it in school.

I'm in Canada and so is the guy I was replying to. Our government is vetting refugees from Syria.

For your sake, i hope your country's vetting procedures are better then ours.

We were all vaccinated against it in school.

Unfortunately, that's no longer a viable option since there are drug-resistant strains floating around

I don't know anything about my country's vetting procedures, never mind yours, but I'm not afraid. Just because something worthwhile is hard to do doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.
What is it we do? Do we do the rights and freedoms of individuals or do we do the protection of the collective?
