Re: French far-right makes major breakthrough to top regional elections
With regard Spain and Slovakia, not according to Guardian ( European elections: six countries that went left, not right | Politics | The Guardian ), and if UKIP is far right then so too is the Conservative party given they adopted a number of UKIP policies, which they had previously accused UKIP of being racist. Amazing how often the race card gets used by one party only to end up being used by the very same party that made such allegations. Note that both the French left and right wing parties had adopted a number of Marine Le Pen's Front National's policies.
Spain went right, as did Slovakia. Better said, centre. That's what it would love people to believe. Factually it is far right. Just a statement, content of which corroborated by nothing, as usual. What, beyond being a meaningless platitude, is the point of such a statement?
