She's "christian" - nothing muslim about it - it was a cultural decision.

Yes, your situation sounds bad. However, male circumcision isn't the same as FGM, where the point is to remove all sexual pleasure from women. Many of these women can't even have sex without excruciating pain, and they're considered the property of their husbands so they are forced into painful situations.

There have been convictions for FGM in the US, one man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for performing FGM with a pair of scissors.

The lack of prosecutions is startling however, and we need federal laws that make it very clear that this barbaric nonsense needs to stop.

No factual. Back in the day when Christians did have the power, that is when we had witch burnings and worse. Stop trying to cover up the crimes of Christianity.



Again, tradition. Go back 70 years in the US/Europe and women were looked on "funny" if they wore pants. Go back further and if women did not cover most parts of their bodies then they were prostitutes. And further back they wore scarfs and in some parts of society burka like systems. Again we are back to traditions, and they change.



So are you one of those that think miscarriages are the fault of the mother?

You are right, Khalid Adem, FGM on his own daughter. One case in both countries is appalling.
