The EU in/out Referendum in UK is gathering momentum with Brexit polls showing the leave camp in leed. However, if the polls are to be believed, the leed shown in latest poll from YouGov is minor, and I use the words "to be believed" because I am sceptical due to what I read in comment sections of national press and even the national presses own polls which show a clear leed for out camp. Note that I am not implying any bias from YouGov or other pollers, but I do question what they say against what I see.

Regardless of what people may believe or not believe with regard polls, the fact that 50 MPs have chose to defy the PM would be a major blow to Cameron and in camp, especially as Cameron had already made it quite clear that he wants the UK to remain in EU.

The fact that it is the Daily Mail does not raise any questions?

I learned a long time ago to question what is published in any newspaper. I also know newspapers must be able to support what they publish. They cannot just publish anything, though they probably would spin what the publish for maximum effect to attract readers. In saying that, I seen this one coming, as what is stated is not new in as much this action had been considered for a little while now, which of itself made headlines in other newspapers.

Will the expats leave Spain and France if the UK leaves the EU?

Some may do, but I for one will be applying for Spanish citizenship if the UK exits the EU. There's no doubt the lives of British ex-pats will be made harder by the little Englanders.

Cameron certainly has a eurosceptic rump to deal with but the paper glorifies them calling them "leading." One or two may be but not 50.

The Daily Mail... have actual facts behind what they publish since when!?!?! The Daily Mail not print lies? HAHAH since when!? LOL.. omfgs my side hurts from all the laughing.

Many will be forced too because they would need work permits and visas to stay.

The big question will be pensioners who at the moment gets healthcare locally. They will have to start paying for their own healthcare, which will be expensive. I suspect the costs of the NHS will explode as older Brits return to burden the NHS and the people actually paying for the system will be kicked out.

Not if they become British Subjects, and note there had been a flood of applications from such for exactly that reason. Further, please note they would then possess what is called dual nationality status. Now, to your post to me. Don't go away, back soon....

Are you saying that what the DM published is not true?

With the leaving GPs, this will only make Jeremy Hunt more unpopular.

Good idea. It's a shame to see the expats being treated this way.

Are you saying it is a trustworthy news source? I think you know that it isn't and that there's a ton of evidence out there to prove that it fabricates much of its news coverage. There are a few examples in this rationalwiki entry, with citations:

If you believe everything that is printed, you are in for some serious disappointment in life.

Any news outlet is driven by profits, not honesty and accuracy, and taking the risk to be 'first'.

"If it bleeds, it leads".

I don't trust anything because it is printed, and really do not care who does the printing. I had certainly made my position clear enough on that point enough times in number of threads.

I am saying it is supported. If you link to Conservative home web site not only should you note they are not disputing what the DM published, but they have actually included the DM publication on issue on their site.

I hate quoting DM, as I always get this from one or more other posters. The problem is, the other publications that are running the story are using same source. Hence, as said, I suggest a visit to Conservative Home website. Not only are they not denying it but have also included it on their own site. Note Conservative Home website is Conservative Party's own web site.
