So you think that raising CO2 levels has absolutely no effect?

Try this, take two identical glass jars.

Fill one with regular air. Fill the other one with a mix of 50% regular air and 50% pure Co2. Seal tightly.

Now, get two heat lamps and put one lamp shining down on each glass jar. Come back in a hour. Which is hotter?

Still thinking warming is all natural?

So basically what you're saying is that we should pollute the Earth and be as irresponsible as we want to be because it's possible that we'll all die either way. Brilliant. I'm going to go drink cyanide because it's only sometimes fatal. Why would I want to drink cyanide? Shut up, that's why.

India scientists say GW is caused by millions of open fire stoves and the fuel they use, dried animal dung and other offensive stuff, not their millions of cars and trucks. Take your pick.

Might it not be a combination of the two? I don't know what sort of gasses burning dung would give off...

Many are fine with pollution, because their god is going to rapture them and fix the planet up again just for them to live on. from their point of view, if it hastens the end, bring it on!

I am saying mans part is minimal and climate change happens no matter what man does

I have no problem with cutting pollution but scare tactics do not work. The doom and gloom of GW has replaced the scare tactics of pollution of the 60's

Okay, care to show a point in time where Co2 went through the roof with no natural disasters?

You do realize you are effectively saying that Co2 does not trap heat and that man has not released huge amounts of Co2 into the atmsophere at unprecedented rates short of massive Siberian eruptions like the one that took out virtually all life before the Dinosaurs no?

Your position is antithetical to the testable properties of Co2 as well as Earth's history.

Just to save time, I'm going to answer my own question.

It's a trap because it forces you to go down one of the two following options:
1. AGW is real
2. One of the premises in my reasoning (or the reasoning itself!) is faulty - something which you know I can show not to be the case.

Just to remind you, here it is again:
1. Man has released large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere in recent times.
2. CO2 has a warming effect
3. (from 1. and 2.) The CO2 which man has released into the atmosphere has had a warming effect.
4. (from 3) This warming effect is described as AGW.
