Why I Choose to Challenge Climate Change Deniers

First off, I'm not "yuz guyz", second, yer in no position to be talking about deception when you still can't even admit to your original lie.

You sound just like every global warming alarmist that I have run into.

The term " you guys " is very accurate.

Because Norfolk is sinking...period. It has already been proven.

OMG.............can you please explain how a tide can change in certain parts of the coast but not others? Do you mean that the water isn't self leveling, or is there some phenomenon that only you know about? Did you bother reading your reply before you sent it out. If the tides go up in Norfolk, they have to go up in others areas as well.

But, regardless of your foolishness, the tides in my area haven't changed one bit in 30 years that I can visually see. I have the same marking on my pier that have been there since 1986 and the tide only changes in height during a full moon, and storms.

Yep. Sea level rise will not be uniform all over the world.

It's a science thing- you wouldn't understand.

Oh...I do understand. Measurable levels will always average out do to gravity and pressure. I am surprised that a very smart know it all like yourself wouldn't understand.

As the link showed, levels will not always average out, due to salinity, currents, prevailing winds, and density.

In fact, that's specifically why I posted the link you obviously didn't read and/or comprehend.

I know it might seem like I know it all, but it probably just seems that way because I actually read things, unlike some people.

LOL...it's makes me even more convinced that you have no idea what you are talking about. Salinity, currents, prevailing winds, and density are dispersed over a short period and the water will level out with the rest of the oceans/seas/bays/and inlets.

So again, please tell me how one region of the world have sustained highers levels of water than others.

Stop trying to make yourself seem wise through snarky

I actually supplied a link to the information.

Maybe you're not aware that when you click on those colored words, it opens up a webpage in a browser which is there for you to read.

Try it sometime.

I don't need global warming to care about the environment.... though that's what it seems to be for so many people...

Yes there is a reason and it's a damn good one too.
I ****ed up.
Here's the intended link ...

Whoa, does this bring it home right here at DP or Watt (spelling intentional) ...

"It will do more harm to your own self-esteem than the pretension of winning an argument by appealing to authority or popularity. Increasingly, we are seeing more and more outrageous and aggressive anti-scientific claims that anyone who is not willing to embrace the dangerous global warming bandwagon and to condemn its culprit, CO2, is actually the equivalent of a Holocaust Denier."

"... the predictions made by the climate models are akin to computer-assisted divinations."

"... ~1°C increase in the temperature anomaly registered since the past 150 years,..." (I had just noted something similar to 3G Jr. a few minutes ago.)

Cool find, jack.
