...............Obama Gets A Big Win As Court Declines To Block His Clean Energy Plan

President Obama got a big win today as a federal appeals court denied a Republican-led petition to block his administration’s clean energy plan…………….
“White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a statement, “We are pleased that the court has rejected petitioners’ attempts to block the Clean Power Plan from moving forward while litigation proceeds. We are confident that the plan will reduce carbon pollution... We look forward to continuing to work with states and other stakeholders taking steps to implement the Clean Power Plan.”

“…. Republicans have been obsessed with killing Obama’s clean power plan. …. the House followed the Republican-controlled Senate by voting to kill the EPA’s Clean Power Plan. Republicans hate the plan……..
U.S. appeals court declines to block Obama carbon emissions plan

For a lame duck he sure seems to get a lot done………Even with the GOP doing all they possibly can to sabotage everything that might be good or has President Obama’s name on………… ....:applaud

yea because of unconstitutional EO's and unconstitutional regulations being made by agencies that don't have the power to do what they are doing.
however it isn't a victory the case will continue it is just that so will the regulations.

congrats to Obama for jacking up power bills on American working people.
I don't see how this was a major victory their lawsuit is still legal.

however for them to not support the stay is kinda mind boggling. yet
this is another case that will go to the SCOTUS.

the case won't be settled till after he is out of office.
way to go socketing to the little guy.

Executive Orders are constitutional and have been so since George Washington.

Unconstitutional Regulations? Which ones’?
Regulations are within the prevue of the various agencies within the Executive branch (in general) who have the responsibility to enforce/carry-out the laws as passed by Congress.

Before a regulation becomes effective…………there is a long period of publication; requests for public comment; multiple public hearings in all sections of the country….

And all too often……..

Expensively long and drawn out legal challenges……….to complete the legal process – before a regulation becomes effective- takes 18 months to several years…….

If there is anything you seem to thinks………. unconstitutional regulation ………. It will be long gone before it becomes adopted……….

With regard to this particular case, I am sure there are more legal challenges to be made/attempted before it become effective….

With regard to the cost of power………. the trend has been down in all the years of the Obama Presidency…………. look it up yourself

How you see it not as a victory……………. talk to the folks who wrote the headline ………. And I am sure the folks on the short end of the court’s opinion are the ones’ who would agree with the headline writer……….

It will be a long time before this “battle” will be over and its acceptance by SCOTUS to be heard is questionable… and yes it will be settled a long time after President Obama leaves office……for whatever that means?

And in spite of what you think………... acceptance and enforcement of the law … as passed by Congress… will result favoring the “little guy” ….

And as a final observation:
1. You should look for a more reliable and less politically motivated news source…………. the one(s) you now use serve you poorly…….
2. Your knowledge and understanding of how your government works/functions needs a serious “brush up” ….
