They NEVER answer that question. The only goal of the leftist environmental extremists is to incite fear. That fear they then seek to turn into government power and state action. That's all the left cares about. If AGW is true, then there is no stopping it. Liberals know this as well as anybody. What they want is to empower the governments to the world to regulate human activity. That's what is behind everything they do and everything they believe.

Yet when I show you a paper which has a different number for the mass loss of greenland 12.9 as opposed to 300Gt/year and ask you to show me the 5000+ km^3 hole where there was ice and now is none you have no answer.

Someone asked about the link to the story at the beginning of the thread, so I posted the article that was cited. I haven't had time to read it, yet, so I reserve judgment on it. Of course, that does not mean that there isn't a human contribution to the ongoing climate change via increased greenhouse gas forcing.

Then again its far more likely to be natural given there are so many precedents. Here is why

Glaciers do not melt uniformly as would be expected from atmospheric global warming, rather the melting and advancing of the glacial is complex and therefore more likely associated with geological forces.

The most significant and most recent glacial melting occurs in what is likely a geologically faulted linear valley that is theorized to have increased heat flow. Sub-glacial freshwater lakes have been identified.

Newly released research by other scientists agree that geothermal forces are active in Greenland

Who cares about the natural movement and cycles of glaciers?

The 1/2 meter potential is if all of that glacier melts.

I wonder how many more viking fishing villages it will revels as more land is exposed?

I will agree that the politicians and wealthy liberals see it that way.

Their voters, however, I think are too blind to see that is the agenda they empower.

The Greenlanders are probably thrilled. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be to live there.
