As a result of the mis-application of bad science we now have a situation where vast quantities of food are used as fuel. The poorest billion people on the planet are slowly starving. The death rate of these people has been increased greatly for no good reason. If you live on a dollar a day or less then the rise in food prices is disasterous.

Tens of millions of people are dying each year due to this.

In Europe the madness about CO2 has caused a policy of using deisel to fuel cars. This is causing tens of thousands of deaths in the UK alone.

CO2 is a none problem.

No. If it happened in the past then it is not likely that our actions are the cause of it.

So rather than waste vast amounts of money on not using the best methods of doing stuff we should instead use the best methods we have to build stuff which makes it possible to cope with what nature throws at us.

Alarmists are desperate to deny us access to the affordable resources that will allow us to easily do so

I don't actually think it's guilt.

I detect a common thread in communist/green/religious fundimentalism; The wish to destroy the present world and society. The want to revert to a previous golden age. The cultural revolution of Mao. The simple actions of smashing everything. The wish to kill lots of people and have power.

Thus there is a vast amount of "don't do x" and a maga silence about what they actually want done.

100 million forced into the desperate state of poverty. For the billion already there even worse.

If you were tyong to live on $1 a day how would you feel about a 75% rise in the cost of the small amount of food you could not afford to buy? How would you feel about watching another child die of hunger?

You switched to appeal to emotion instead of supporting your assertion. I've had enough of it, so I'll just stop you here:

1) Only about 9 million people die each year from "hunger and hunger-related diseases," not "tens of millions." So even attributing literally every one of those deaths to ethanol, you're short
2) 75% of families in the poverty circumstances you refer to grow their own food.
3) Undernourishment rates have been declining for decades
