Conservative Critics of Environmentalism are Correct

This Changes Everything, the movie version of Naomi Klein’s bestselling book by that title, is a moment of astonishing candor on the environmentalist left. For decades, conservatives have argued that environmentalism is a cover for centrally managed economies, wealth redistribution, and intrusive government regulations. Klein comes out and says that indeed, environmentalism is exactly that. Conservative critics, she says in so many words, “are right.” Climate change is an opportunity to write “a new story.”

It's not a new story at all, of course. it's been tried again and again and has always failed. But let's just jettison all that accumulated knowledge and “Start From Zero,” to coin a phrase — hey, it’s sure to work this time.

Most things that do get governments attention, outside of the constitutional tenants, are completely about money and power.

Anyone who actually reads the material see just how controlling people like Al Gore and Michael Moore attempt to be upon the public.

My question is...

Why must these people be so deceitful? Moore's deceit in his material like Fahrenheit 911 is blatantly obvious to anyone who does any fact checking. Same with Al Gores An Inconvenient Truth.

Do the people who believe this tripe, never do any thinking for themselves? No fact checking?

I dunno, why is Dinesh D'Souza's 2016: Obama's America such a dishonest bowl of dog crap? Partisan filmmakers make partisan films.

I'm just stunned that "these people" only included liberal filmmakers.

In this particular case, however, you haven't seen the film, neither have I and neither has the OP. But the last person I'm going to trust to objectively review it is some hack from a Scaife-funded think tank.

I haven't seen intention deceit in right leaning movies like Fahrenheit 911, Global warming Swindle, etc. There were two mistakes found in The Great Global Warming Swindle, and they were since removed in later releases. This isn't deceit, like Gore's, Moore's, and others works. It's an acknowledged mistake.

There is a trailer for the book, and I have been it. It may or may not reflect reality. In either case, I offered my opinion as a "guess" as to the content.

She is no expert in climate, and the theme is capitalism vs. nature. However, she makes statement about levels and warning as if fact.

I'll just have to see more to make an accurate assessment.

Again however.... I'll bet it is moore tripe.
