Global warming now the cause of prostitution

Liberals are fun to watch. They're like a situation comedy in which they have to play a certain role and will bend the events around them to allow them to do so.

They exist to protect victims. There can be no victims without victimizers. Therefore, EVERY situation needs to have a victimizer that reduces the people they "protect" to the powerless posture of being a victim.

Their constituents are mindless, powerless, feckless pawns who are the victims of anything and everyone they meet.

To be a Liberal you have to place yourself into the role of being either the victim or the benevolent protector of the victim. There is no equality in the mind of or the political party of the Liberal.

As a result, to the Liberal, if you are not a Liberal, you must be evil because ALL victimizers are, by definition, evil. For them, being a Liberal is an act of being philosophically good.

Not much different than being a benevolent plantation owner or one of his hard working guests.
 
Pretty soon everything, including early gray hair and the latest crazy Japanese porn fetish, will be blamed on global warming.

(I did not sleep well last night thanks to terrible knee pain, I may get rather entertaining today.)

disruptions in the atmosphere cause micro electric jolts to your knee. all of this is pointed back to global warming.

Seeing we commit children in a number of countries to piverty, starvation and often death in order to prevent pedophiles from seeing the pictures they like.... of course prostitution must be really horrid, if we think it worth doing that to children to prevent naughty pictures of them being made.

Unfortunately your title is wrong. Nobody is claiming global warming is "the cause" of prostitution.

She makes a forward thinking statement about the negative impacts of climate change.

Since “women will disproportionately face harmful impacts from climate change,
particularly in poor and developing nations where women regularly assume increased responsibility for growing the family's food and collecting water, fuel, and other resources,” the measure reads, they will be the most desperate and vulnerable, forced into situations,“such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage.”

Her resolution, “Recognizing the disparate impact of climate change on women and the efforts of women globally to address climate change,” asserts that long term and catastrophic weather changes will result in drought and destructive weather events such as flooding, which could lead to food shortages, joblessness and disease, along with economic and political crisis on a regional scale.

Global warming -> increased economic hardships -> increased desperation -> increased turning to prostitution/being victim of sex trafficking.

I really don't see how this connection is so difficult for the right-wingers to understand.

When I saw the Thread Title, I thought it might have to do with emissions. Heavier breathing?

Where in particular is the Increased Economic hardship being endured?

In these particular areas where prostitution is actually increasing in the real world, is it demonstrable that this is both related to Economic hardships in the real world and that those Economic Hardships are related to Global Warming? In the Real world?

Just wondering if this is a real world thing or a dream world thing like AGW.
