This mom does a very good job at helping her child learn thru creative exercises, which not only teaches her child to read and write but also to sign. Teaching at its best, no doubt about it.

The first time I heard about that was watching a Ben Stiller movie, Meet the Fockers. I wasn't sure if that was real or not because of it being an absurd comedy, but now I'm a believer. I mean years ago, as a person with a psychology background, I knew there were some degree of communication skills for infants. But I didn't really think that children from 1-2 years old actually have such a strong grasp on such an abstract form of language.

As I think about it now, this kind of confirms Chompski's theory that language is indeed innate in humans.
