Alright now usually I don't really care what kids wear to school or what rules schools make as long as they make sense and are appropriate...however after seeing this : http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/67259/
I have to wonder.....am I paranoid....or does this seem like a massive screw up? On both the side of parents and the side of the school?

Uh. What? His hair isn't distracting in the least. If you had asked me if his hair was even remarkable in any way I would've said no.
It sounds as if the kid goes to a predominately white school, too. If there were many black children in his school it would be almost inconceivable they'd suspend him. My little brother's had that hairstyle like 30 times, even.

More evidence that we need to pay teachers more, as long as they agree to get rid of the bottom 10% where the complete idiots are....
Someone should show them pictures of real mohawk haircuts so they can be 'educated'.
