What was your major in university and why did you choose it?

People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge).
What was your major in university and why did you choose it?

The degree was Economics with my thesis in business; then quantitative socioeconomic researth before going into banking.
As i did 13 years at universities i accumulated a variety of minors usually in neighboring subjects like political science, sociology or law.

Mainly, i did things because I was curious and the topics were fun.

Electrical engineering.

Always liked computers. Wanted a challenge. Turned out to be pretty easy. Ample employment opportunities as well as high wages.

Earth Science with a Physics minor.

Electrical Engineering, because I thought I would be good at it and I was all about the money, which I thought this would get me. With the money I was going to get the hottest of chicks who would blow my socks off in bed.

How did that pan out?

I got the girl, but not the degree. Long story having to do with Childhood trauma and burnout leading me to spend my days devouring the REALLY good MSU library, practicing Zen and doing drugs rather than going to class. I was suspended at the end of my 3rd year because of my grades and I never looked back. I had the girl three months before, and she did not care if I had money ( I actually had less than nothing). We put a couple hundred dollars on VISA and got married along the creek at MSU as the snow was falling on Valentine's day. It was pretty cold but she made me take my jacket off for the ceremony, wife said that if she could freeze for love then so could I.

She was right.

Married 30 years so far, I regret none of them.

Thanks for asking.
