How is lowering the cost of corruption going to reduce it?
You see the relationship between business and government as adversial like between Kings vs the aristocrats in Old Europe. Government is the one able to put a gun to one's head, not business. State and local governments would be less corrupt and more efficent because they're dealing with fewer resources for fewer people. It will be easier ot keep track of what the government is doing. Also, governments can take the best ideas from other states instead of putting all of their eggs in one basket with a big federal government

A non-statist isn't necessarily an Anarchist. It simply means that they don't want government to take a large role in their lives, and that it should be restricted to a few things

Did it really? Because all capitalists on this forum denounced the bailouts.

I hear that the FED is a market institution that isn't responsible for regulating our economy and overseeing a plethora of depressions.

This financial crises was all caused by the invisible hand and that artificially suppressing interest rate below the market rate is goobernuck.

When government hands out money like that it's corporatism. Big business LOVES government intervention because big business gets all the love. But that's not capitalism, it's economic fascism.

And deregulatory practices do nothing but help the current economic conglomerates gobble up the competition and workers
