Americans are deadly to capitalists!

I work for myself, BY MYSELF. It's a pretty good gig that nets me a very good income. Capitalism has been very good to me.

how nice but millions of others get killed off and often lose everything. Its a brutal world if you are a capitalist and thus subject to the whims of the people

I believe that's called competition. I've faced my share of it and have had to beat it back. It makes a healthy marketplace.

YOU are your safety net. The world, the government, your own people owe you NOTHING. Stand up, quit whining, and get back to work. You can not know success unless you have known failure. I've lived in a two room apartment, a three story house, and car at one time or another. I've never asked for a 'safety net'. There is no safety...only success and failure. You take risks, you get kicked in the teeth, you reap the rewards. That's how the world works.

wrong, liberals are very generous about offering a safety net or even a permanent home in which to live.

this is true they subvert our democracy by using it to buy votes with the promise of more and more welfare so why not put failed businesses on the gravy train too? Its only fair?

we are talking economics here!! the issue is whether welfare is fair when given to failed individuals and to failed companies.

feeding kids is feeding parents with poor parenting practices so why not do both or neither. If we eccourage brave capitalists we'd have more jobs and less need to feed kids. Don't you want China's 7% growth rate?

kids don't starve in the streets in the USA????????????????????????? We have many programs to prevent it and they are even advertised on TV. Do you understand?? In American over eating among the poor is a far far bigger problem than under eating???? Do you understand now???????

I understand that you're emotionally invested in the subject. There is no reason for government to subsidize business. If your business fails...try again.

China doesn't do that because they care about the business. they do it so they can pretend their economy is in better shape than it really is.
