Magic tricks for a date

Have you guys perform some magic tricks in front of your date? Could you tell me some simple ones?
I joked that I could when texting a girl. She took it seriously and asked me to do it next time. [emoji28]

Come clean and just tell her the only trick you really know how to do is hide the salami.

That is a variation of the "salt shaker" trick I posted. ;)
 
Seriously.....if you do magic tricks on a first date...you will make her disappear.

I've always heard that it's not the size of the wand but the magic of the performer.... ;)

Plus I don't trust illusionists... they are sneaky and who knows what else they're up to.

Just bring her a small gift and go on a romantic walk somewhere so you can get to know each other. :)

Get her to drive, and when you're out in the country, put your hand on her knee. If the magic trick works, she'll turn into a picnic area!

Considering that she wants to see the magic tricks, I would ignore most of the posts that naysay with the "don't do it, Man!" panic.
If you learn a few simple tricks then it is going to be a hit when you "bring the magic" as long as it isn't your sole egg basket, so to speak.

The coin trick behind the ear is pretty easy, or the variation of turning one coin into two, and can be found all over the internet.
If you want more comedy then look up "simple funny magic tricks".

And good luck, you apprentice magician you! ;)

Practice moving one hand around a lot while using the other to make a switch. That is the key. One hand to distract, the other to be sneaky. But, doing it is not that easy, mentally. You're brain will want to use the moving hand or the one you are looking at not the stealthy one.

So, it will take some practice.

Once you've got that down though, it should go easy enough. Then just follow a few youtube instructions to find the best tricks.

Start at 1 minute.
 
This is an oldy gut a goody. It is particularly easy when sitting at a table.



But skip the magic wand comment and just drop it in your lap.
