If you don't like the "contract" you have with your partner, try to change it in a consensus. (Sure, such an attempt can cause trouble too, but still better than breaking a promise).

There is much you can do: Why not sign on a "we stay together, but both look for a little fun outside of our bedroom", or going to a swingers club together -- if you really think that's necessary for your sex life.

Of course it's better when people live up to the ideal of a lifelong faithful marriage, but apparently, that's too hard for many people. So maybe this expectation is too high and the model should be changed -- but not by cheating and lying. Better find a new model in a consensus, for that mutual trust and possible children do not suffer.

I personally would not feel comfortable swinging, but if other people want to do that and both husband and wife consent to it and are honest about it, I'm okay with that.

You have no idea how many times a cop hears from men and women alike...please, my husband cant know this or my wife cant know this.....they both cheat in larger numbers than you would think..

Women cheat because the man sucks....men cheat because the woman sucks.

I looked up the stats a couple of years ago, out of curiosity, because someone on a discussion forum, claimed that men are more likely to cheat than women. I don't remember the numbers exactly, but I believe it was somewhere in the 40-50% range, for both men and women.

Agreed...but there is more than sucking involved, if done properly.

I will totally agree with you Luna that there is never a valid reason for infidelity. Either to engage in it or to accept it. Talk it out, work it out or get the f- out. I do think you are being a bit psycho about it though. I don't think you need this much hatred. Not that it makes it right... but I can see where when people have invested so much of their lives to their spouse, houses, kids etc etc, when something happens, its not so easy to just up and leave. That should be done granted, but that is one of the reasons why people stay in the marriages or relationships they are in.

You're right. It actually is possible for a relationship to recover from cheating. It's not easy at all, but sometimes relationships survive. At least I've heard of that happening. I personally doubt that I could ever put it behind me if my man cheated. Once that trust is violated like that, how do you ever build it back up again? Maybe in relationships where they both cheated and therefore the trust has to be rebuilt both ways it's more even. I don't know.

LOL. I'm sure glad they figured that one out. My brother had a wife who was a cheating ho, and she was in her 20s when she did that. She married him because he's a highly paid professional and then used him to pay her way through college and medical school while she was screwing around behind his back. He even used his "buddy passes," which are essentially free airline tickets to fly her and her lover to exotic locations and **** on my brother's dime. She's now on her 4th husband. My brother moved on and married someone better.

There are special places in the deepest depths of hell for cheating and swindling hoes like that.

I've never been married, but oral sex is good, period, so I'd assume your statement is accurate.
