This thread is for those of you looking for a True Debate, private debate, or reverse debate, but don't already have someone in mind or lined up to debate you. Before posting here, please make sure that you've read the stickies for Battlegrounds and Disputations Guidelines AND the sticky with the rules for the particular debate you're looking for.

*Topic(s) you're interested in
*Your position
*Timeframe you are available for a debate (this is especially important for *True Debates, not so much so for private or reverse)
*Any other pertinent information you can think of

I wish to debate Rogue per our True Debate rules. The subject is the feasibility of his plan for dealing with illegal immigrants vs. mine. We will examine the basic problems associated with illegal immigration such as the employment issue, health care, criminal enterprise, and national security. I will take the position of a hybrid approach to processing new immigrants and those already in this country.

I would also like to discuss whether or not his historical position on this issue classifies as a xenophobe based upon the most commonly accepted definitions.

I would also like to discuss whether or not I fit the description of a "pro-illegal" as I have been labeled.

At the end I would appreciate a critique by as many DP'ers on both sides of the issue and a ruling as to who they believe carried the day for their side.

Rogue and others vilifying immigrants all together are only here for a shouting mud slinging contest so as to point all the problems of this country on immigration. Just as has happened a hundred years ago with Chinese immigrants, Irish, Italian, Eastern European and so on. Now their new targets are Latinos.
