Is Israel using 'Thermobarbaric' Weapons ?

Analysis of the dark refractive material layered over the skin of one victim showed it contained mainly carbon and oxygen, and lesser amounts of iron, silicon and calcium. Some of these elements are used in particle form as fuel additives to boost the blast of thermobaric bombs or grenades.

Thermobaric, or fuel-air energy (FAE), explosives work in two stages. The shell, or container, is burst open to spread the combusting agent as a fine aerosol, then this is ignited, creating an over-pressure blast wave travelling at 3000 metres per second, and burning all available oxygen in the process.

Israel is apparently using banned thermobaric weapons against Gaza civilians. How long will these barbarians still be allowed to terrorize millions of palestinians by the USA ?

Your source is Al Jazeera Magazine which is not a news organization. The author is a freelance writer and not a journalist. Do a Google search of Stuart Littlewood. Opinion pieces are not allowed in the *BN* forum.

Thermobaric weapons are not internationally banned as far as I could find, I don't believe Israel has signed any treaty banning them either. Killing civilians is never a good thing, but I don't see the difference between using thermobaric weapons or HE munitions. Thermobaric kill using pressure or vacuum, neither of which is any worse than getting hit with fragmentation, concussion or bullets.
Why exactly would these weapons be considered more barbaric than any other weapons?
